Hi everyone, I know it’s been a long time, but Marvel Guides is back and better than ever with a huge update that thrusts us into the next era of Marvel comics. Check out the full update to learn more!
Today I’m adding a whole new era to the site that I’m calling Ash & Doom, covering books from the end of 2024 up through the present day. Like the Timeless era before it, this doesn’t constitute any sort of official reboot or relaunch from Marvel, but rather is a natural jumping on point given most series are starting over either with new #1 issues, creative teams, or both.
To begin, we’re covering the X-Men From the Ashes relaunch up through the One World Under Doom event. The good news is that I’ve already started on the new few chapters of this guide, so expect another update in the coming weeks! For now, check out the new pages:
This will give you a few hundred issues to catch up on, and like I said more are coming soon. Rest assured that updates for other eras will come in due time. The site is far from dead as some have speculated, and while there are many other great reading order sites out there, I can almost guarantee mine are the most accurate but also take a huge amount of time to piece together.
And yes, if you hadn’t heard, one of the reasons updates have been slow is that I’m getting a book published! In case you’re interested, The Last Beacon is a labor of love that I’ve been working on since 2018, and it’s a techno-horror thriller that takes place in the late ‘90s. The book got picked up for publication and will be available in physical bookstores and online in 2027, but you can pre-order now at a discount if you’d like to support me and help my publisher gauge demand.
