Today we’re excited to announce that Marvel Guides will begin covering DC Comics, creating the same high-quality and accurate reading orders that you’ve come to expect from us for the past several years. While creating guides for Marvel comics is still our top priority (it’s in our name after all), we’re fans of all comics and thought we had a great opportunity and platform to expand the scope of the site.
While the amount of our DC guides will be fairly limited for awhile, one day we hope to cover the entirety of DC’s history just like we plan to do with Marvel. To get things started, we’re introducing the first part of our New 52 reading order. We know that this era is often controversial and has some missteps, but for the most part it is a fairly good jumping on point for new fans, and made the process of beginning to delve into this universe a bit easier for us as well.
We’ll be releasing more parts of our New 52 reading order over the next few months, and we have plans for a DC Rebirth guide early next year. Of course you can expect more Marvel-centric updates from us in the near future as well, with new additions to both our Fresh Start and Bronze Age guides.
